USAID GRAPHIC STANDARDS
USAID’s Logo – the Seal, Type Mark, Tagline, Brand Name, Circles, Agency Name, Acronym, Handclasp, Stars, Bars and Translated Brandmarks – is not just a brand. It represents graphic standards of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The primary purpose was to ensure that people across the world understand that it was contribution “FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE”.
Digitized Logos, Inc. is an approved vendor of USAID to reproduce USAID branding items for various programs and initiatives at local, regional, national and mission levels. Some examples of these products are lapel pins, coins, signs and banners, men’s and ladies’ apparel, and other promotional items. Digitized Logos, Inc. understands that the USAID logo is a U.S. Government symbol. Our goal is to provide branding items and apparel to USAID and it’s Missions that are in full compliance with the USAID Graphic Standards.
This Graphic Standards Manual provides details of USAID logo and it’s use that follows the USAID’s statutory requirements to mark programs overseas as American Aid. They govern in the following order: Section 641 of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended; implementing regulations, now found at 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 700.16, “Marking”; and Agency policy and guidance, ADS 320 Branding and Marking. In case of any conflict between this guide and USAID’s statutory, regulatory or ADS guidance, those authorities, in that order, govern. Guidance on “branding and marking” is issued by the authority of ADS 320, and specifically 320.2.f, under which the USAID’s Senior Advisor for Brand Management in the Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs (LPA) is required to develop and maintain the Agency’s internal and external branding policy directives and required procedures.

Being a USAID approved branding vendor, Digitized Logos strictly follows USAID Graphic Standards. We carry all high resolution/vector art with appropriate color patterns for the brands:
- USAID Horizontal Logo
- USAID Vertical Logo
- USAID Type Mark
- USAID Seal
- USAID Missions
- USAID Translated Brand Marks.
Please note that Red (PMS 200) and Blue (PMS 294) are preferred colors for the purpose of USAID branding.
Majority of USAID initiatives are in the geographic locations where English is not as commonly understood, read, or spoken. Based on this reason and due to request by Missions overseas, Digitized Logos undertook a huge task and launched e-Stores with most Translated Brandmarks. Each language is sorted by the Bureau. Here are the links to the e-Stores:
